Jim + Sharon, Milwaukee, WI

Sharon and Jim first met as teenagers, dated for about eight months, and then life took them in different directions. (Do you know where this story is going??) They each built individual lives and families for decades and then more than 40 years later their paths crossed again, and here we are- getting these rockstars hitched!!

Sharon came to B-Rad through a previous B-Rad bride referral and we are oh so thankful! Sharon and Jim live in Illinois and knew that they wanted to host their celebration in MKE.

We began with touring venues to find the perfect fit that was not “boring or wedding typical” as groom Jim would remind me frequently. It was important to both bride and groom that their wedding was not only beautiful, but the bar needed to be stocked, food amazing and music, out of this world. Thank goodness I know some rockstar vendors ;)

We settled on The Society (Milwaukee’s Historical Society) for its historic significance, character and overall WOW factor. Catering from Shully’s was a must and music from their good friend and Blues superstar Marty, “Big Dog Mercer”.
